AD2K is an entirely non-profit, labor of love contibution to Burning Man. While we are already committed to building at least a single set of dominoes, the more support we receive, the bigger AD2K will be. 60 dominoes? 100? More? It's up to you.

SPONSOR a DOMINO

Each domino requires approximately $30 of materials. For every $30 donated we will build a domino hand-lettered with your name or other message, such as a favored quote or dedication (no corporate or business logos allowed).

Once AD2K is erected at Burning Man, a high-quality digital photo will be taken of your domino (downloadable from this website after the event). You will also receive a commemorative certificate, featuring a 1:96 scale model of your giant domino. Attending Burning Man? Visit AD2K, further decorate your domino, and have your picture taken with it!

IMPORTANT: If you want to receive a domino with a hand-lettered name or dedication, you must Sponsor a Domino via PayPal PRIOR to Friday, 8/31. Now that AD2K is under construction at Burning Man, no further cash or check donations will be processed until after the event.

VOLUNTEER

Volunteers of all skill and experience levels are needed to help assemble dominoes as well as clean up after the burn. Assembly will take place from August 25-29 at Burning Man. Clean up will take place on 9/3 and 9/4. If you are interested in joining our merry band of dominotrixes, please email annodomino@fluxdesign.com, or come find us on the playa. All funds collected will go toward the creation of dominoes for Anno Domino 2000 (AD2K), a large-scale public artplay to be erected at Burning Man 2000. If we do not construct AD2K this year, you may choose to have your donation refunded or transferred to a fund to construct AD2K at Burning Man 2001. All supporters will be publicly credited, both on this site and at Burning Man, unless they request otherwise. A expense summary is available, upon request, to any donor.
